Our Directory is one of the most visited channels on our site, so you want to be sure that you add your website link, or you can add one for a friend, your club/organization or for a client, too. And, if you don't have a website, you can still add a level 1 or 2 listing and use this as a mini-website.
There are 3 levels for the Directory listings:

Premium Listing - this is a paid listing which is located at the top of the other listings. A Premium listing allows you to upload a 250x250 image to accompany your listing. You get a large amount of text to add with your listing, so this can be like a mini-webpage for you - just use the URL at the top of your listing (in the browser bar) as your 'webpage'. And, you can change the text and image as often as you want! Your Premium Listing is displayed next to the Resource Guide listings that are used for articles corresponding with the businesses that have a Premium listing. When you get a Premium listing, send us an article or press release so that we can publish this in the associated category accompanying your listing. Notice the Resource Guide links on the left menu of the Directory listings? These links will take you to articles and press releases for these Premium listings. (You will navigate the Directory using the links with arrows at the top of the Directory listings.)

Basic Listing - this is a paid listing that does not allow an image, but you do get a lot of text area. This listing does not correspond with the Resource Guide listings.

FREE listings - we don't have a restriction on how many of these that you can have in the different categories, but we would appreciate a reciprocal link back to our site at http://HorsesintheSouth.com, especially if you enter a lot of listings. This will actually help your site in the search engine rankings because our site is ranked very high and gets 'spidered' all of the time, especially since we have so many articles we put online.
For those of you that have gotten a directory listing already but haven't done a paid listing, think about doing another listing as a Premium listing so that you can also reap the benefits detailed above!
